MPower was established in 1969 to provide services to individuals in Payne County with developmental disabilities.  MPower provides a supportive environment for comprehensive employment, job-training, job-placement, residential services, and Adult Day Center.

MPower is a non-profit United Way Agency funded by contracts with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services Developmental Disabilities Services Division, the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services, contracts with local businesses,  an allocation from the Stillwater Area United Way, and donations from Elite Repeat.
